1.0Membership Levels, Tier Miles and Benefits

1.1Membership Levels

1.1.There are four Membership levels in the MedaaseLoyalty Program. The entry-level is NAGODE Ruby. Members may progress to higher levels – SHIDAA Emerald, TIPAGYA Gold, and AKPE Platinum – by earning Miles.

1.2Miles are earned for paid travel. The number of Miles earned varies depending on the class booked for travel.

1.3The number of Miles required to attain and retain SHIDAA Emerald, TIPAGYA Gold, and AKPE Platinum Tier status levels are published on the MedaaseLoyalty program.

1.4Membership status levels are valid for a minimum of one year.

1.5It is the responsibility of the Member to check whether a proposed booking is eligible to earn Award Miles and, if so, how many Award Miles will be earned.

2.0Membership Downgrade

2.1If an AKPE Platinum Member fails to accrue sufficient Tier Miles in subsequent Membership Years, they will be subject to TIPAGYA Gold status level qualifying criteria.

2.2If a TIPAGYA Gold Member fails to accrue sufficient Tier Miles in subsequent Membership Years, they will be subject to SHIDAA Emerald status level qualifying criteria.

2.3If a SHIDAA Emerald Member fails to accrue sufficient Tier Miles in subsequent Membership Years, they will be subject to NAGODE Ruby status level qualifying criteria.

2.4If a NAGODE Ruby Member fails to accrue sufficient Tier Miles in subsequent Membership Years, their Membership will be terminated.

3.0Normal Check-In Times and Conditions

4.0Data Protection

4.1Africa World Airlines collects personal data when you register as a Member of the MedaaseLoyalty Program, reference your membership when booking, or participate in marketing programs and competitions. This data is used for membership management, administration, accounting, auditing, systems testing, marketing, and research.

4.2By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you consent to the use of your data for the purposes listed above. If you agree to receive offers by email, your data will also be used for direct marketing. Your data is managed by Africa World Airlines.

4.3Your personal data will not be sold, exchanged, or released to third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

4.4Africa World Airlines may update its privacy policy. Material changes will be posted on the website for thirty (30) days.

5.0Governing Law

5.1These Terms and Conditions and the MedaaseLoyalty membership are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Legal matters are subject to the jurisdiction of Ghana.

5.2These Terms do not affect your rights under national consumer protection laws.

5.3If any part of these Terms is deemed illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, it will be adjusted or removed. The remaining provisions will remain in full force.

6.0Liability

6.1These Terms respect non-excludable consumer rights provided by law.

6.2Subject to clause 5.1, Africa World Airlines and its representatives are not liable for any loss or claim arising from changes to the Terms or the MedaaseLoyalty program, unless caused by negligence or willful misconduct.

7.0Earning Miles

7.1You earn Miles each time you fly with Africa World Airlines. The number of Miles depends on route, fare, and travel class. Miles can be redeemed for reward tickets.

7.2Higher-tier members earn bonus Miles:

5 bonus Miles – SHIDAA Emerald members

19 bonus Miles – TIPAGYA Gold members

29 bonus Miles – AKPE Platinum members
