Funding

Funds are solicited from customers on board AWA flights and the Head office ticketing point. The company also assists where necessary

1. Frafraha children’s home, Accra to mark Africa World airlines’ 1st anniversary in September 2013.
2. Osu Children’s Home, 2014.
3. The surgical ward of the 37 Military Hospital, 2015.
4. The University of Ghana’s Sports department, 2016.
5. The Asogli State in support of its educational fund.
6. The Centre of Hope Orphanage in Abossey Okai,2017.
7. The Diabetic ward of the Tamale Teaching Hospital, 2018.
8. Donation of computers to Akyremade JHS, Kumasi and Lagos Town Junior High Schools, Takoradi.
9. Educational tour for final year students of Bonwire Senior High School, Ashanti region.

Proposed plans for year 2020

1. Include online – the website as a fundraising channel
2. Move to the regional stations, starting with Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria
3. Then to Monrovia and Freetown
